This post is nothing fancy (though I LOVE the parasol – so really just an excuse to share the picture)….. This past Memorial Day weekend, Seattle hosted the perennial Northwest Folklife festival. Full of artisans and musicians, it also has quite a few characters. In no way did I get photos of all of them, capture the heart of the event nor even the best of the worst, but enough to give you a flavor and share a few perspectives. Funny how some people in their get ups, appear to want attention but not their photos…. God only knows what I would have worn as a juvenile to this event though… Next year telephoto, camouflage (aka sparkly medival, fairy or Flashdance attire), balloon animal decoys and courage to snap them all!
